Know these cold

  1. Resolutions: 1080p (1920x1080), 1440p (2560x1440), 4K (3840x2160) — higher resolution needs more GPU power.
  2. Panel types: IPS (best color/angles), TN (fastest response ~1 ms), VA (best contrast).
  3. USB speeds: 2.0 = 480 Mbps, 3.2 Gen 1 = 5 Gbps, 3.2 Gen 2 = 10 Gbps, USB4 = 40 Gbps.
  4. USB Type-C is a connector shape — actual speed depends on port spec (may be USB 2.0 through USB4).
  5. HDMI 2.0 = 18 Gbps, max 4K@60Hz; HDMI 2.1 = 48 Gbps, max 4K@144Hz.
  6. DisplayPort 1.4 = 32.4 Gbps, supports 4K@120Hz with DSC.
