Know these cold

- An anti-static wrist strap grounds you to the chassis, equalizing your body's charge with the equipment.
- Work on an anti-static mat; avoid carpeted floors and synthetic clothing.
- Safety Data Sheets (SDS) list hazards, handling, and disposal for every lab chemical.
- Class C fire extinguishers are rated for electrical fires — never use water on live equipment.
- Professional conduct includes labeling cables removed, photographing before disassembly, and documenting all changes.
