1. CPU Installation
- Identify the socket type on the lab motherboard.
- Align the CPU triangle marker with the socket corner mark and lower straight down.
- Apply a pea-sized amount of thermal paste to the CPU IHS.
- Mount the cooler and connect the CPU fan header.
Turn in / bring: Lab photo with CPU seated, paste applied, and cooler mounted — submitted to Canvas Module 3.
